The Build New Home Build Media Concept
An internal project developing a media concept. While in the market for a new-build, I got frustrated with the lack of ability to see all my options in one place. Each builder had their own websites, house plans and pricing, there was just no easy way to compare them in relation to my needs. There was also a lack of quality digital show home walk-through content available. Top that off with our research showing up to 80% of show home visitors are simply window shopping for appliances and design ideas, and I saw the potential to give consumers a central hub of options, allow several smaller building companies to advertise great content more effectively, and improve the quality of the leads walking through show home doors.
The result was The Build. We created a sales video and I spoke to 40+ builders, as well as Future Proof Building who we formed a good relationship with, and as a result created several show home video and photography packages for.
While The Build project never gained the momentum it required to effectively launch with enough content (6+ partners), it was still a great great experience which led to several new clients including FPB, Jalcon Homes and Jennian Homes.
